Hey! I know it's been a really really long time since the last time I posted on this website, but I'm back again! I can't make any promises about consistency, but hopefully you can enjoy this chapter! Last time, we had our third and final child, Millie, and adopted a dog, Bruno. Let's get right into it! Our lovely matriarch is doing the hard work, as it always is with this ISBI, mopping the many puddles. Meanwhile, our new pupper Bruno has selected a mess in Millie's room as his bed. So cute. I've been using the "influence to do homework" interaction, but it never works, so I used the "force to do homework" one instead. It resulted in this staring contest for a bit, but Lia eventually relented. Following this success, I had Saige use the same interaction on Clem, who took less time to follow the instructions, but looked more angry about it. Ah, well. Good grades are more important. Bruno has evidently picked Millie as his companion. Or maybe Millie picked Bruno. Either way, it's sweet. Clem and Lia had each other as friends, but Millie doesn't have a sister so close to her age. Bruno, I guess, is filling that void. Meanwhile, Clem is making a mess. Grr. I sent Saige to go jogging for her aspiration, but she barely lasted an hour before walking back, all stinky. With everyone off to work, school, or day care, Bruno picked Millie's empty bedroom as his resting place. Oh, I guess it wasn't a good day at school, then? Siobhan arrived home from work along with Millie, and then spent a good amount of time just picking Millie up, then setting her down. It was kind of frustrating because both sims had very low needs. Instead of going to sleep, playing with a toy, or eating, as her needs suggested, Millie decided to come outside and throw a tantrum, but her ever faithful pal, Bruno, came out to comfort her. Somehow, Siobhan managed to get to the toilet in time, as well as get her hand stuck in the wall. A very stinky Millie is imitating Bruno, who looks slightly annoyed but, honestly, fine with it. Saige arrived home and forced Lia into doing her homework. Ever the compliant child, Lia promptly sat down right beside the toilet and started on her homework. She then went to the garden of messes to create another one. I guess she doesn't like doing homework. Siobhan has been standing in the girls' room as her needs rapidly decrease, and Lia has decided to ask for some advice, while (apparently) practicing her first position plié. Lia: Mom, I need help. Mama keeps making me do homework! How do I get her to stop? Siobhan: Well, homework is actually a very important to your success as a sim. And to the Controller's success. Yes. Very good. We have priorities! Evidently Lia wasn't too happy with that advice. Lia: Mom! @&^$%#@! That's horrible advice! Siobhan: Don't say things like that. Now, go away. I'm trying to focus. Lia: ... this is my room? I forgot to check on birthdays, so Saige has aged up into an adult without a cake. I'm sorry, Saige. Siobhan has passed out. Grr. -5 Siobhan is back in the girls' room to stare at her new favorite piece of art, the divider. It must be very inspirational, based off Siobhan's expression. I guess Saige was trying to cheer herself up after that sad birthday, so she grabbed a slice of cake. I feel so bad. 😞 I also decided to redo the house, so I added a second floor, another bathroom, and a living room. I was going to make the house even larger, but didn't have enough money. I also didn't furnish the second bathroom, due to money reasons. As you can tell from these photos, there aren't very many windows in the house, and that's because I basically ran out of money. I think the house is really cute, though. Normally, I'm really bad at making tiny starter homes into good looking larger houses, but I think I did well this time. However, the lack of windows was strongly felt when the power was shut off since I hadn't paid the bills. When I went to pay the bills, I didn't have enough money for it! I had to wait for Siobhan to come home from work with the money we needed. Since Millie, for some reason, refused to sleep, I had Saige put her to bed. (By now, the bills had been paid) After her nap, Millie gave her puppy friend Bruno a hug. Aww She then went to sleep on this chair. In true Sims fashion, Saige and Siobhan had tilapia and dumplings respectively for breakfast, at the counter instead of the dining table. I don't think anyone has actually used the table I put in for them. Bruno has aged up! He is now an adult dog. In celebration, he gets a hug from his best pal. Even though Siobhan should have gone to work, she spent the whole day at home, getting stinky and doing nothing. I mean it. She literally just stood there, stinky and with super low needs, the whole time. Millie passed out. Luckily it doesn't count for points because she's a toddler and I don't intend to make myself suffer more than I already do with this challenge. The girls arrived back from school, and Clem decided to make a big mess. I had Saige scold her and force her to clean it up. I've been using these "force" actions a lot; they're very useful. Clem passed out. -5 Saige forced a stinky Lia to do her homework and then take a shower. I also added a toilet to the bathroom on the second floor. I would have added a sink as well, but we didn't have enough money. On the first floor, I replaced the shower-tub combo with a shower because there wasn't enough money to bake a birthday cake for Millie, and the tub wouldn't be needed with no toddlers in the house. (We had 12 simoleons and the cake was 15. It was very a true tragedy) However, with the new money, Saige made Millie a cake and she aged up! She didn't look too happy about her birthday, though. I think she's actually really cute, and I'm happy with her trait. It's Harvestfest! I'm excited to sell the gnomes and seed packets, but they'll be annoying, popping up everywhere. Siobhan passed out. She stayed home the whole day and never once took care of her needs. -5 Saige called the family together for a grand meal as Siobhan wet herself. -5 Siobhan then passed out in the puddle of pee. -5 Everyone else came to the meal, though. Which was good, since there wasn't even a seat for Siobhan. Siobhan even joined in with the conversation but (of course) didn't take care of her rapidly decreasing hunger bar by joining in with the meal part. Fully getting rid of all points from last chapter, she passd out once more. -5 Siobhan finally found the bed upstairs. Thank goodness. Millie woke Siobhan because she had a nightmare, and I was genuinely terrified that Siobhan would pass out instead of going back to sleep. Oh, and I moved the gnomes into Saige and Siobhan's bedroom because there's so much empty space there, and they were blocking the hallways. You might think that Saige is sad because she's holding dog poop in her hand, but it's actually because Harvestfest sucked. I'm disappointed, honestly. I even made her make a grand meal! I sent Saige on a run because I really haven't been working on her aspiration as much as I'd like. Millie did her homework with her best friend, Bruno, nearby. (She did not decide to do the homework on her own - Saige forced her to do it, of course.) They're still pals, even after their baby days are over. I just love these two. Finally, Siobhan has decided to start taking care of her needs. The girls returned from school (Millie's first day!) in varying degrees of stinky-ness. I caught Millie in the middle of passing out, which means we now have negative points. So, yeah. I'm doing great. She then took a nap on her sister's bed. Siobhan came home from work and Bruno greeted her. I imagine him begging her for treats, just from the eager way he's looking at her and his cocked paw. My own cat begs for treats all the time. Clem took a shower and then, even though she really had to use the toilet, she left the bathroom. She made it to the toilet later, but it was a nerve wracking experience. Saige arrived home with a promotion and a bonus of some thousand dollars. Lia made a mess in her mothers' room, and Saige grounded her for it. Siobhan has really gotten into the violin. She's gotten pretty okay at it. Bruno is running away. This made me very sad. Millie was also heartbroken that her best friend was gone. He'll be back soon, I promise. However, there is still a celebration to be had, and so in the middle of the night, while everyone sleeps, I woke Saige, who then woke Lia, to celebrate Lia's birthday! Using the magic of CC, I used the same hair style as she had as a child. Some of her proportions are a bit weird, but I still think she's pretty. Bruno has returned home, and it is snowing! Saige morphed with Millie as they tried to eat. Lia started freezing to death in her CC outfit, so I had Saige call her over from inside the house. I then bought a tub so that Saige could give Bruno a bath. Now, the bathroom on the first floor has a tub and a shower. Saige went to work as the girls arrived home from school. Following her mother's example, Lia passed out right next to a bed. -5 Siobhan got home from work stinky as always, and her daughter gave her some serious side-eye. Lia woke up and passed out again. -5 She had the action icon for sleeping in a bed (albeit Millie's) but she just stood there! When Saige got home from work I made her go force Lia to sleep in a bed, but it was too late. -5 It's Clem's birthday! I think Clem is super pretty! At this point, it's been a couple months since I last played/took these photos, so you'll have to forgive me if the storytelling is a bit sparse, teehee. There, you can see the back of Clem's new teenage outfit. I think she's really pretty, and I like both her teenage and child styles, though it's not something I could ever pull off. Not sure why I took this picture, but Bruno is super cute, so here you go! Although, it is hard to see him against the black wood behind him. Ah, well. I think Lia was home from school here, stinky as ever. She found herself a bed, though! It's not her's, but you take what you can in an ISBI I found this rainbow poop, so I sent Bruno off to the vet. It's winterfest! Again, no idea why I took this picture, but I guess it's a nice couple moment. So long as Siobhan doesn't accidentally cut herself, of course! And then Lia passed out. -5 She then woke up and went to open her present, which was a cookie jar. Saige got a fossil. Then it was Clem's turn to open a present. She got "two thousand ounces of gold under the sea," according to my notes. No idea what that is, but it sounds cool! Now it is Millie's turn. If you're wondering how I got them all to open presents despite this being an ISBI, I used the "Open Presents With" action, so I'm not cheating. Anyways, Millie got absolutely nothing. Just lies and sadness, according to the Sims. What a merry Winterfest! She then looked longingly as her mother unwrapped a knife block. Not a child's preferred present, but a present nonetheless! There's no workaround for this one, so Saige was the only one who asked for a present from Father Winter. I guess he wasn't too happy about the less-than-large reception he received, so she got nothing in return. Just more sadness and lies. As always, I sold all the presents from Winterfest and bought us some upper cabinets! I just realized the plates kind of match with the chairs. Yay coincidences! Then Clem passed out. Great. -5 Stinky once more, I see. Also, either Clem or Lia is close to failing school. I can't remember which, but I'm inclined to believe it's Lia. Ah well. And that's where I'm going to leave this chapter! I'm sorry again that I haven't been active recently. The Sims 4 just stopped being interesting to me for a bit, but I'm back now. I am getting a large amount of homework, so I'm not sure how much I'll really be able to play Sims. I will be posting more, just maybe not very often. Also, as you can see, we lost 55 points for passing out this chapter. 55! I feel like I've been missing out on gaining some points, but if any of you guys have ideas or suggestions on how I can get my points up and stop losing so many, please tell me in the comments! And with that, I will go! Thanks for reading! Total Points: |
